AIA Members Earn CE Credits for Completion of Free Program
OAKLAND, N.J. – Sept. 16, 2019 – Amerlux, an award-winning design-and-manufacture lighting company, announced today that it will present its second ground-breaking webinar in a four-part series to help its stakeholders keep pace with an industry that has turned into the new tech sector.
Amerlux’s free webinar series, “eLumenNation,” goes live tomorrow (9/17) at noon EST with a presentation geared toward helping architects, lighting designers and interior designers learn about what is driving the next revolution in the hospitality sector. The hot topic, “How Tunable White Lighting Can Elevate Any Hospitality Space,” lays the groundwork about why the next disruption in hospitality has arrived. The webinar has been registered with the American Institute of Architects Continuing Education Systems (AIA/CES) for continuing professional education. Credits earned on completion of this program will be reported to CES Records for AIA members.
“Tunable white lighting creates a memorable experience that you can feel, which is where the hospitality industry lives,” said Amerlux President Chuck Campagna. “It will make your guests feel refreshed, well-rested—and it will even mitigate jetlag. It’s a programmable type of lighting that is not about a specific room or building—it’s about all of us.”
Attendees will learn plenty from the webinar series’ second installment:
- What is tunable white lighting
- How light impacts our circadian rhythms
- How hospitality lighting can treat jetlag and improve customer experience
- What innovative applications for tunable white lighting apply in hospitality
- Slots and Dots, which is an easily configurable track light system that creates visual ambience for hospitality and retail environments. It offers clean, compact styling, which ensures it looks good in any environment. The one-inch-wide track features magnetic attachments, so light sources can be easily snapped in and out as needed. With this track system, it’s a cinch to change the lighting in a room between events.
- Etch 2’x2′ recessed ceiling panels, which were co-developed with world-renowned architecture firm Gensler Associates. It presents a clean aesthetic with evenly lit, premium LEDs, bathing open spaces with smooth, ambient light. The new lighting solution delivers a sense of architectural style to an area, unlike traditional drop-ins that have the look and feel of commodity-grade products.
